My friend and I have been through a week skiing. It was an indescribably great experience. It cares for a week at the beautiful huskies, learn to drive dog sleds and sees the beautiful landscape, which is in Norway, Sweden and Finland always a bit different. It’s just wonderful, to come from our often so noisy world in this beautiful and so quiet snowy landscape. Sandra and gates, which had all week for us, have great care of us. You can tell that they have a lot of experience with the weekly tours. They gave us clothes in which we have not frozen. At the end of the week we were all a team because everyone helped each other. Thank goals and Sandra for this wonderful unique experience, we were able to through you. I can only recommend it to anyone!

From meeting the dogs on the first day to returning home, I have never experienced anything like it. I had always dreamt of dog sledding in Norway, and my dreams were met, and exceeded. The feeling of complete freedom on the back of your sled, enjoying the best movie available – nature. Crossing frozen lakes, climbing mountains, slaloming through forests, the weeks adventure encompassed all types of natural beauty. Camping in the wilderness takes you from all life’s distractions, bringing you back down to earth. Who needs an Xbox when you could take control of your own racing team?The trip in itself was amazing, however Tore made it a special experience – I have complete respect for him and did so from the moment I met him. The experience, the leadership skills, drive, passion, commitment etc he has is unfathomable. I have only ever read about men like this, but to be in the company of one was an immense pleasure. A true role model. So if you need convincing to take a trip with Active Tromso, the opportunity to meet Tore should seal the deal. I can’t forget Sandra also (Tore’s partner) who was there throughout the trip supporting and pushing, helping us overcome those tough moments but also laughing with us through the fun moments. I was lucky enough to go on a day and a night dog sledding tour this December. We were all welcomed and picked up in great transport and the 30 minute journey to the mountains is picturesque all the way. This is not my first time dog sledding and know that Active Tromso are not only the best, but authentic with great ethics. One can feel rest assured that the guides have many years of experience, the head guide Tore, has over 30 years and in many extreme challenges. Listening to Tore is very inspiring and leaves you with aspirations you never knew you had.
The dogs are beautiful and friendly, you cant help but enjoy your team. The expedition clothing and boots keep you warm and comfortable to get stuck in.
I cant think of a better way to experience the daytime’s blue light and the polar night’s colours and moonlight. Surrounded by mountains this location is awesome and back at the cabin the dogs have a wonderful home.
